What's it all going to cost? That depends greatly on which components are best for YOU. The information below will give you an idea of what you'd be looking at. Note: Any prices that are posted are in Canadian funds. Canadian residents are subject to GST, Saskatchewan residents are subject to PST and GST. Taxes are NOT included in prices. If you are outside of Canada, there are NO taxes. Please understand that there is SOOOO much more to building a good golf club than just "cut and glue". Special attention must be given to every detail in order for the golf clubs to perform to their potential. Each and every club I build will be "Blueprinted" - which will include the following;
All of these "blueprint" details are critical to the performance of the club, that is why they are all part of every club we build - no exceptions. The above measurements/modifications/enhancements are made using some specialized high-tech tooling and equipment, and a bit of science. On average, my total time investment into building a set of clubs averages somewhere between 60-90 minutes per club (even more if I'm re-shafting). I will not just "cut and glue" a set together - please don't even ask. If these details are overlooked, it's like comparing a beat up old high-mile Chevette (remember those?) to a new Rolls-Royce automobile - yes they are both considered to be "cars", but they are nowhere near the same thing. Please see the page titled "Science in Custom Clubs" for a detailed explanation of the above terms. Also read the "Custom Clubs & FAQ's" page for more great information on custom clubs. For more information on putter fitting, please see my "Putters" page. I will offer you value-added product and service - much more than you can get "off-the-shelf". I have experience, qualification, certification, the necessary special tooling/equipment, and utilize only top-notch components. When it comes to the build, every detail is given the attention it deserves - I treat each club as if I were building it for my own use. Since I'm the only employee, every club that is created here is done with great care and attention by my hands, one at a time, to my standards (I'm kinda picky), and your unique specifications. I will stand behind every single club I build.... PERIOD. I am not interested in the quick sale (take the money and run), I am more interested in your long-term satisfaction with your golf club(s) purchase - I want you to get your money's worth. If you encounter a problem with your club(s) where something isn't "right", through effective communication we will determine what isn't "right", and I'll do what I can to make it "right". Remember - "The bitterness of POOR QUALITY lingers on long after the sweetness of LOW PRICE is gone". 2012 Labor Rates & Fitting Fees
Any jobs not listed above are charged by clock-time at a rate of $60.00/hour. The above fitting fees are charged to do an in-person custom fitting session (by appointment only) - payable before the fitting session begins. This fee helps to pay for the launch monitor, demo heads, demo shafts, grips, swing speed and ball speed meters, video capture equipment and swing analysis software which is required for proper fitting. All of this equipment (several thousand bucks worth) is necessary in order to do a complete and proper fitting. NOTE: ** Launch monitor is used in all fittings to acquire data, and help us fine tune/optimize the exact combination that's right for you.** We also utilize high-def video in our fittings to we can see exactly what's happening with your swing. The slow motion high-def video tells a great deal more than the naked eye can at regular speed. The video is also plugged into our "C-Swing" software (golf swing analysis program) when we get back to the office so we can have a closer look/analysis of your golf swing, and gather some key swing data. Please see the "The Fitting Process" page for more details. Fitting fees are not included in club prices. My ever-increasing investment in all of the fitting gear is just too large, this is how I pay for all of the necessary equipment I need to fit you properly. *NOTE: Shop supplies are charged on every shop invoice in addition to prices noted above (for ferrules, grip tape, solvent, acetone, cutting and prepping supplies, tooling and equipment supplies, wear and tear on tooling and equipment, lead powder, shaft tip weights, brass or tungsten hosel port weights for swingweighting or MOI matching, etc.). Assembly time can be anywhere from 4 days, up to 3 weeks (depending on availability of components). Left-handed club heads may not be available in every model, I will note all of the exceptions on the club head pages. ** My Disclaimer: ** My clubs will not be the cheapest available on the market - I'll let you know that right now - CUSTOM ANYTHING COSTS MONEY. "The bitterness of POOR QUALITY lingers on long after the sweetness of LOW PRICE is gone". I can assure you that the clubs you purchase from Gooder Custom Golf Clubs will be made the best I can possibly make 'em. Your clubs will be made for you and your swing, they will be custom fitted and assembled by hand one at a time with the exact same care, attention, and detail I would put into my own clubs. I have a great passion for the game of golf, the art of club making, and take great pride in the work I do - I will build each and every club like I were building it for my own use. I will stand behind every club I build. You have my word on that!
